The new Germany semester ticket for students is coming!

Since 1 May 2023, local transport customers have been able to use the DeutschlandTicket to easily travel on local public transport buses and trains in Germany. At the end of November 2023, the federal and state governments agreed on a cheaper DeutschlandTicket for students. From the 2024 summer semester, students will be able to use public transport throughout Germany with the DeutschlandTicket.

Our ticket offer: The DeutschlandTicket for students in the VRR

The universities and universities of applied sciences in the VRR area offer their students either the VRR semester ticket or the Germany semester ticket. The universities/universities of applied sciences decide which ticket is issued at your university or university of applied sciences. As a holder of a Deutschlandsemesterticket, you will be able to travel throughout Germany by public transport for an entire semester. Berlin is calling! Or maybe Hamburg after all?
